Job description

Are you passionate about building strong client relationships, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and providing top-notch HR advisory services? Do you find excitement in designing and leading hybrid learning experiences for HR teams? If you're someone who takes charge of complex tasks and consistently seeks improvement, we want to hear from you! Your consulting expertise and exceptional relationship skills can significantly impact HR transformation for some of the world's most dynamic organizations. At AIHR, we are seeking an HR Advisory Consultant to join our Advisory and Insight Lab (AIL) in delivering impactful solutions to elevate HR!

About AIHR

Founded in 2016 with the mission to future-proof HR, the Academy to Innovate HR (AIHR) has become the world’s market leader in online training for human resources (HR) professionals. We have a global customer base spread across 140+ countries, amongst which are companies like Unilever, Reckitt, Goldman Sachs, Philips, Deloitte, Nike, Heineken, and UBS. It is our goal to continuously upskill and empower 1,000,000 HR Professionals.

We are an international team of 90+ people, driven by excellence, innovation, and a hunger to grow in everything we do. As such, we strive to provide the world’s best courses and excellent support to our customers while continuously optimizing every aspect of our work. With over 30 nationalities, our team is diverse, yet we all share a few traits: we're friendly, enthusiastic, and great team players.

Being a fast-growing company, working at AIHR means taking on a lot of responsibility and getting countless opportunities to develop yourself in new areas, and the potential to craft your own role.

Role and Responsibilities

As an HR Advisory Consultant, you play a key role in developing and delivering our advisory solutions, which span offerings from a full HR audit to capability mapping and supporting Operating Model design. You bring your structured and diligent approach to delivery, ensuring projects stay on track, stakeholders are informed (internal and external), and deliverables are of high quality.

Your hands-on approach drives high-impact results as you oversee the entire delivery of our blended learning offering. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, supporting the facilitators, and keeping the content relevant to the changing landscape we find ourselves in. You will also have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles by ideating, designing, and delivering new blended learning offerings aligned with market trends, and then scaling the solutions as demand picks up.

You will play a core role in enhancing our tailored learning journeys. You will do this by deep-diving into analytics from past journeys and gathering qualitative feedback from colleagues and customers. Using your strong consulting and learning skills, you will also have the opportunity to design client-specific learning journeys based on in-depth client analysis and linking their development priorities to our extensive library of content. Using your strong analytical and storytelling skills, you can propose improvements to our process, content, or product features to further enhance the learning experience.

Collaboration is at the heart of your work. You’ll partner closely with our Learning Consultants, Lara, Ingrid, Milou, and Stephanie, to ensure the delivery of our solutions aligns with the customer's broader strategic objectives and that platform engagement stays top of mind. You will also work closely with our Learning Designers, such as Nicole, who will be your go-to person for bringing tailored learning journeys to life. You will also have the opportunity to co-create future solutions with the rest of the AIL team, such as working with Marna on our latest insights report or supporting Annelise with a deep dive into our surveys.

This position is perfect for someone who takes initiative, consistently delivers exceptional results, and genuinely cares about our clients' experiences. You'll encounter a dynamic environment where variety and autonomy thrive, with the occasional surprise to keep things interesting. Get ready to make a meaningful impact!

On a typical week

On a typical Monday morning, you kick off with a sync with the rest of your AIL team members, aligning on the work for the next two weeks. Before you jump into your advisory delivery week, you do a quick check-in on all your active boot camps, ensuring your facilitators are prepared, updates are sent, and progress is tracked.

Then you dive into the advisory work: reviewing a detailed HR audit findings report for an enterprise client before it goes to the project lead for sign-off. The content is solid, but a couple of sections need additional validation. You flag this and provide recommendations from the quantitative analysis to support the findings. That’s the standard this role operates at.

After a quick lunch with the team (on Tuesdays, we lunch together as a team), you join a call with an enterprise client, such as OPENLANE, to discuss the tailored learning journey you designed for them. You come prepared: a capability map, market research, tailored learning drafts that address their specific needs, and a proposal to enable leadership in execution. The client leaves the call with a clear plan and feeling well looked after. That’s what good client management looks like here.

Late afternoon, you carve out time for something you’ve been working on: a standardized facilitator briefing toolkit that will cut bootcamp prep time significantly. It’s unglamorous work, but it’s exactly what makes the offering scalable.

The next day looks different. You’re in presentation mode, crafting a live-event slide deck focused on demystifying the myths of talent management - leveraging your past experience to shed light on the topic. It’s a different kind of thinking, and you appreciate that the role demands both.

The honest bit? Some days are more fragmented than you’d like, a facilitator needs urgent support, an advisory template isn’t right, and a client email needs a thoughtful response by the end of the day. But that’s delivery, and it’s what keeps you sharp.

By Friday, you’ve touched bootcamp delivery, advisory support, content development, and internal coordination, ensuring Lara, our Learning Consultant, and Jessica, our Growth Account Executive, are all up to date on a shared client.

You close the week with a quick check-in with your manager, Wihan, to align on the next week’s priorities and align on that last email to a customer. After the quarterly wrap-up, where the whole company hears how AIHR is growing, you join the office drinks and disconnect with some fun banter and cake.
